The movers I see:

Talk KOA 850 AM continues to tank... now at 17th, after being in the top 5 for many many years before January and their schedule shuffling. Wow! What a disaster! What do they do to stop this freefall? I'm wondering if they can just switch back to their old schedule? I know they said corporate dictated they had to move things around to carry the Rush Limbaugh show live, but this has been a big disaster for them. Word is Rush Limbaugh was doing pretty bad ratings-wise, even before the schedule changes.

Clear Channel better be looking at all of their options and make changes NOW - like moving Limbaugh to KHOW. Or better yet, moving all of their syndicated stuff that is on KOA/KHOW (Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity) to KKZN (and rebranding the station like they did with their liberal talker in Los Angeles (http://www.patriot.la/main.html)), and then shuffling their local shows around where they would work the best on KOA and KHOW. They should also find an FM translator for KOA stat to help stop their freefall in the ratings, along with the needed programming changes.

Spanish KJMN 92.1 FM is up to their highest ratings ever at 7th.

Classic Hits KXKL 105.1 FM keeps rising (their music tweaks and TV spots are helping), to their highest since over a year ago, tied at 8th. KDHT 107.1 FM (now KXDE) dumping their Jack FM format will only help KXKL, and probably KKCK (who isn't listed since they aren't a Nielsen subscriber).

R&B Oldies KJHM 101.5 FM is on the rise at 18th to their highest with a 3.0.

Thoughts?
