CCM+E Triple A KBCO/DENVER-BOULDER has been named a finalist for the NAB CRYSTAL RADIO AWARDS. The awards honor media outlets that have gone above and beyond expectations in serving their local communities.
In 2013 KBCO presented Colorado Rising – a concert featuring a performance by DAVE MATTHEWS as well as other bands to benefit local flood relief. The event raised $650,000!
Further, KBCO continues to support the FOOD BANK OF THE ROCKIES and the BOULDER COUNTY AIDS Project with proceeds from the sale of its yearly Studio C CD. The annual live-performance compilation that has raised over $2 million for local nonprofits over the years.
“KBCO supports a wide variety of nonprofits that make the DENVER-BOULDER metro area a better place to live,” said PD SCOTT ARBOUGH. “We are thrilled to be honored by the NAB as a finalist for the CRYSTAL RADIO AWARDS and will continue to provide opportunities for KBCO listeners to join our efforts to give back.”
The NAB CRYSTAL AWARDS winners will be announced during the Radio luncheon on TUESDAY, APRIL 8th in LAS VEGAS during the NAB CONVENTION.
