With the huge AFC West football playoff game showdown this SUNDAY in DENVER between the DENVER BRONCOS and the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS, CCM+E Classic Rock sisters KGB/SAN DIEGO and KRFX/DENVER placed a little on-air wager earlier this morning between the snippets of smack-talk.
KGB's BOB & COE SHOW phoned LEWIS & FLOORWAX at KRFX (THE FOX), claiming that although DENVER is favored by oddsmakers, the CHARGERS will emerge victorious in the rubber match because of CHARGER QB PHILLIP RIVER's NFL-leading 69% pass completions and because the BRONCOS have been taking full advantage of COLORADO's new recreational marijuana law.
This did not go over well with LEWIS & FLOORWAX and things ended with a wager: Whichever station's team wins on SUNDAY gets a one hour take-over of the losing station on MONDAY morning to increase the pain and suffering
