View Full Version : Jace Larson leaves KUSA to take gig in Houston

Jace Larson, 9NEWS Investigative Reporter has left to take a job with KPRC TV in Houston. Larson, who started in 2007 with KUSA says "I am very excited and can't wait to bring what we've done in Denver and add it to KPRC's strong viewer-centered coverage. Plus, it's nice to be moving to a bigger market."

According to Larson's bio, he's won the Columbia duPont Award, four Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow award. He's been nominated for a national Emmy award too. Plus the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) group recognized his "Failed to Death" series, which covered Colorado's child welfare system, as a finalist in the Freedom of Information category.

In addition to Denver, Larson has done television stints in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Quincy, Illinois. He attended Principia College near St. Louis.
