The show says that Bob & Tom Plus allows affiliates to “seamlessly integrate their own music and imaging while still delivering the award-winning comedy, conversation, news, and interviews that fans expect from The Bob & Tom Show. This new format provides radio stations with the flexibility to tailor the show to sound like a true extension of their local brand.”
Host Tom Griswold said, “Potential affiliates have been asking for the opportunity to include their station’s format music during our show. We?ve found a way to make this happen with Bob & Tom Plus. While most stations will continue to run the show in its traditional format, Bob & Tom Plus offers an option for affiliates facing competitive situations that would benefit from a blend of local and national programming. We also believe that the timing for this launch is strategic. By condensing some show segments, Bob & Tom Plus will help maximize listening credit under Nielsen?s new three-minute rule.”
