Allen joined WYXB in August 2018. He previously spent his career in Christian radio programming Virginia’s Positive Alternative Radio and Olivet Nazarene University’s “Shine-FM” before a fourteen year run at Educational Media Foundation where he spent time in multiple roles including Senior Director of Regional Services, morning host of “K-Love“, PD/afternoon host and morning host of “Air 1“, Assistant Program Director of both networks and Senior Director of Programming.

I got to play the music I grew up listening to, had the chance to see some great concerts, interview rock and roll hall of famers, and (mostly) did my show from a studio with the best view of the city. I never publicly mentioned my ratings, but I?m proud that for the vast majority of my time there I hosted the top afternoon show on the top station in Indy. That comes when you are surrounded by and led by talented people. Thank you to them! To the listeners – thank you! Radio is always about you! I?m grateful that you allowed me to be part of your life – I hope made your afternoons a little better and brighter!”
