Trinity Communications, the operator of “Iowa Catholic Radio (https://iowacatholicradio.com)” had purchased 105.5 KDLS-FM Perry/Des Moines IA from Pedro Zamora?s Latin Broadcasting Corporation in 2023 for $1.84 million. Its programming will finally debut on the station with new KIHS call letters on April 1.
Northpine reports (https://northpine.com/2025/03/21/iowa-catholic-radio-la-ley-to-swap-stations-in-des-moines/) that Iowa Catholic Radio’s current Des Moines signals will take on the Regional Mexican “La Ley (https://www.laleyiowa.com)” brand currently on KDLS-FM. Trinity’s 1150 KWKY Des Moines and St. Gabriel Communications’ 94.5 K233BT Des Moines will switch programming to that brand on April 1 as well with the AM taking new KDLX call letters.
