Flooding continues to be a nightmare for many in COLORADO. CNN reports, "The numbers are stark -- as many as six dead. Hundreds more unaccounted for. Up to 1,000 people still awaiting evacuation."

COLORADO has confirmed four deaths, but there's fear more will be added to that toll. "The four confirmed victims include a man and a woman, both 19, who were among a group of four teen-agers headed home when the deluge began in BOULDER COUNTY late WEDNESDAY night," adds CNN.

CCM+E Contemporary Programming Manager/COLORADO SPRINGS ADAM BURNES shared, "We are hanging in there. I learned how to dig a trench at midnight the other night to prevent minor flooding at our house and OM PAUL KELLEY had the joys of a flooded basement in his new home. All of the roads to our transmitter site on the CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN are washed out so our engineer is being air lifted to camp out for a few days up on the hill. We have a great local news partner with NBC affiliate KOAA-5 here that has been giving us great updates and going live with WILLIE & VAL in the afternoons to keep the community informed along with the EAS alerts being in heavy rotation -- literally. It seemed like every hour a new flood warning was being added or extended. Luckily the worst of it has finally moved out of the area."

WAY MEDIA Contemporary Christian KXWA (WAY-FM 101.9)/DENVER DIr. of Oper./GRAYSON LONG told ALL ACCESS, "We are keeping people up to date with weather reports and updates on WAY-FM in DENVER, COLORADO SPRINGS and FORT COLLINS areas. We're also receiving prayer/need requests via our website, FACEBOOK and TWITTER. At this point 17,494 homes have been damaged with 11,700 people being evacuated. 1,502 of those homes have been destroyed and there are 1,253 people still unaccounted for. This area has been hit hard & people are reeling. We're working hard to keep them informed, provide timely updates, and offer encouragement that they can hang on to. We want to be a voice of hope, even in the face of tragedy."

CUMULUS MEDIA Country KATC (CAT COUNTRY 95-1)/COLORADO SPRINGS PD MIKE DYLAN said, "We has recently started a campaign for MANITOU SPRINGS to encourage people to visit and support local business after the flooding earlier this SUMMER. With the latest flooding we will be stepping up our efforts even more beginning with 'ManiTuesday' TOMORROW, asking our listeners for donations to help our neighbors who have dealt with so much this year."

CCM+E Triple A KBCO/DENVER is doing multiple weather-related news and local updates every hour concerning the flooding. Fortunately no one on the staff has been affected by the severe flooding.
LINCOLN FINANCIAL Country KYGO/DENVER PD EDDIE HASKELL tells ALL ACCESS the station delivered storm updates and weather advisories hourly throughout the weekend.

“We took advantage of the fact that we are live and local; at the moment we are directing people to the RED CROSS to make donations as that agency is at the front of the relief efforts. We are looking for other agencies that need ‘stuff’ as people love to help with clothes, water, etc. but the RED CROSS only takes money.”

One Sales Manager from the cluster had a basement completely flooded and though HASKELL posted a photo of water damage on his FACEBOOK page over the weekend, he said, “Mine was just a little water from a flash storm.”

WILKS BROADCASTING Country KWOF/DENVER MD BROOKE DIAZ tells ALL ACCESS that their station is putting together a benefit concert for the area flood victims. While they are still coordinating specifics and logistics for the event, DIAZ says that they have partnered with ABC-TV affiliate KMGH/DENVER to give details out as they become available.

As of 12:36p (MT) TODAY (9/16), BROOKE said, “We aren't out of the woods just yet. There is more rain in store for today. Some cities have received up to 20 inches* the equivalent of 150 inches in snow. Crazy!”

HASKELL said this week, KYGO plans to continue providing information on an hourly basis.
