Adams, who is also Vice President of CHR for the company, has served as PD of CHR “Wild 94.9 (https://wild949.iheart.com)” KYLD and Hot AC “Star 101.3 (https://1013.iheart.com)” KIOI since 2014. He previously was VP/Programming of the company’s Portland OR cluster as well as VP/Programming for Rose City Radio Portland and VP/Music Programming for CBS Radio Houston.
With Adams’ move to New York, current WHTZ Program Director Mark Medina will move to Phoenix as SVP/Programming for the company’s cluster there after a decade in New York. It marks a return to Phoenix for Medina as he previously programmed CHR “104.7 Kiss-FM (https://1047kissfm.iheart.com)” KZZP and Country 102.5 KNIX (https://knixcountry.iheart.com) for the company in the early/mid 2000s. Medina also hosted afternoons at Hip Hop “Power 92” KKFR earlier in his career and has programmed KOHT/KRQQ Tucson, WZFT Baltimore, and WIHT Washington DC.
