WMQX is also simulcasting on 1300 WODS West Hazleton with new WLMZ call letters pending. WODS had been simulcasting News/Talk 103.1 WILK-FM (https://www.audacy.com/wilknews) Avoca. The “Mega” brand and format moves from Kevin Fitzgerald’s 94.9 W235DC Dickson City and 95.3 W237DP Mountain Top where they were fed via Audacy’s 101.3 WGGY-HD2 to WMQX under LMAs to Jonathan Alcantara’s JDJ Media. Alcantara now joins Audacy as Program Director of WMQX.
“La Mega 102.3” will air Premiere Networks’ Enrique Santos Show in mornings, James El Bandido in middays, and Alcantara will host afternoons.
