In a separate transaction, Rodriguez will acquire WCGO’s real estate for $150,000. Ambiente Clasico currently leases overnights on WCGO.
After filing last week (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/257816/station-sales-week-of-8-25/) to have Hudson-Westchester Radio’s Talk 1460 WVOX (https://wvox.com)/98.3 W252DX White Plains NY donated to MMTC Broadcasting, MMTC has filed its subsequent transfer of WVOX/W252DX to Jeff Chang for $20,000. The deal includes the station’s license and equipment but no leases other than the translator’s tower lease. Chang will be required to find a new transmitter and studio leases for WVOX. Chang owns 99.5 KRPH Morristown AZ, 1310 KKZI Barstow CA, and 1450 KQTE Helendale/101.5 K268DU Victorville CA along with two LPTV’s in California.
San Tan Educational Media trades Classic Country “The Ranch (https://theranchradio.org)” 90.3 KFXY Buena Vista CO to Educational Media Foundation for 90.7 K213AT Buena Vista and $40,000. The move will upgrade EMF’s “K-Love (https://klove.com/)” network from the 10 watt translator to the 250 watt KFXY, which both operate from the same tower.
Translator SalesAd Astra Per Aspera Broadcasting purchases 91.7 K219DC St. John KS from Great Plains Christian Radio for $25,000. Ad Astra has also applied to relocate K219DC to the tower site of their Classic Hits 1510 KLQR (https://www.adastraradio.com/klqr) Larned on 92.3 where it will rebroadcast KLQR.
CSN International acquires five translators from Bible Broadcasting Network for $75,000. Included in the purchase are 89.5 W208AW Pontiac IL, 89.5 K208CK Scottsbluff NE, 89.7 K209CF Kearney NE, 89.7 W209CL Washington IN, and 91.7 W219BO Manteo NC. Outside of W208AW, no transmitter leases are included requiring CSN to relocate the four other translators.
