To oversee the roll-out, Saga has promoted Katie Gambill to Director of Online News Brands. Gambill has served as President/General Manager of the company’s Clarksville TN cluster since 2007 after previously serving as Director of Sales for Clear Channel.
Gambill launched ClarksvilleNow.com (http://ClarksvilleNow.com) in 2010, which claims to have over 70% of the local digital news market share in the market. Saga has since launched similar platforms in Asheville NC (https://the828.com), Bucyrus OH (https://crawfordcountynow.com), and Greenfield MA (https://franklincountynow.com). It will now launch them in its other 23 markets ranging in size from Columbus OH and Milwaukee to Mitchell and Yankton SD.
