Moody most recently served as VP/GM of the WarnerMedia Podcast Network (and previously Turner) from 2017 to 2021. He began his career in radio as a producer for 97.9 WLUP Chicago later serving as a news anchor/reporter for WGST Atlanta and Assistant News Director for KOA Denver. Moody joined CNN in 2005 as a senior producer and then rose to Executive Director of Programming for CNN Radio in 2008 and Vice President of CNN Radio in 2011. He moved to VP/Sales & Affiliate Relations for CNN Newsource in 2013 until moving to the podcast division in 2017.

Cox Media Group (?CMG?) today announced that Tyler Moody has been named Director of Digital Content for radio, effective today. Moody will oversee digital content and develop an audience growth strategy that uses the company?s apps, social media, website, streaming, digital assets, and best-in-class content. He will also develop new strategies and partnerships to expand CMG Radio?s digital audience.
?Tyler?s background is simply impressive, and his experience will help revolutionize our company-wide digital content strategy,? said Chris Eagan, CMG Radio?s VP of Audience and Operations. ?We have best-in-class radio stations, and Tyler will bring new audiences to our brands via our array of digital assets.?
Moody?s early career included time in broadcast radio at stations including, WLUP, KOGO, KOA, and others. More recently, he served as VP of CNN Radio and VP of Sales with CNN Newsource before he created the WarnerMedia Podcast Network. Since leaving WarnerMedia, Tyler has been a consultant helping media organizations enhance their digital strategies.
