Soon to adopt WAUN call letters, the branding is pronounced Wau-nah to emphasize the calls and to sound like “Wanna Rock”. The flip matches the company’s recent change (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/239075/magnum-media-brings-classic-rock-to-southern-wisconsin/) at WFAW Fort Atkinson WI including the addition of Premiere Networks’ The Woody Show in mornings.
The Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo area served by the station previously did not have a Rock based format, mostly served by rimshot signals from Madison.
The WEZY call letters will be moved to newly acquired sister AC 105.7 WCFW (https://player.amperwave.net/11070) Chippewa Falls/Eau Claire to match its new “105.7 WEZY” branding.
