The move places the Santos Latin Media 24/7 format on the station as it becomes the second Townsquare owned property to utilize the “Juan” programming along with “Juan 95.7 (https://juanhudsonvalley.com)” 1390 WEOK Poughkeepsie NY.
KLTD flipped from Classic Rock to Regional Mexican in May 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/208230/townsquare-goes-la-grande-in-killeen/). The station dropped to a 1.8 share in the Fall 2021 Nielsen Audio ratings. Portions of the Killeen/Temple markets are served by competing stations in the format from the neighboring Austin and Waco markets.
