Matenaer joined WTMJ in 2015 after five years in mornings at AC “B93.3 (https://www.b933fm.com)” WLDB and 25 years at “99.1 The Mix (http://audacy.com/991themix)” WMYX. She told listeners this morning that she gave notice to the station a couple weeks ago and does not plan to retire. She told the Milwaukee Business Journal (https://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2022/07/08/jane-matenaer-radio-wtmj.html?cx_testId=40&cx_testVariant=cx_33&cx_art Pos=7#cxrecs_s) that she’s looking at some options but will be staying in media, “I’m so not qualified for so many things that I will say I’m looking forward to continuing in media in a fashion.”
