KEPC swapping with "Indie 102.3" repeater in Manitou Springs

Pikes Peak Community College's KEPC 89.7 FM and its 93.3 translator in Pueblo will become the new home of "Indie 102.3" in southern Colorado on January 5, 2022. KEPC's "Maximum Variety" format will move to KXRE 1490/102.1 on that date and be renamed "Xtra Music 102.1."

An update regarding this switch: PPCC has applied to change the frequency of its 102.1 translator (K271CK) to 103.5 FM. The translator was moved to KEPC's tower, which puts it in the path between KSPK 102.3 in Walsenburg and that station's 100.3 translator in Colorado Springs.
