It’s a silly question. Who, in this economic climate, doesn’t want to win magic money?
Cedric the Entertainer, the new host of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” will be in town with producers next week, looking for contestants for the syndicated series. Auditions will be held Friday, July 12, at The Seawell Grand Ballroom, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
The new season premieres Sept. 2, locally at 2 p.m. on Channel 7. Meredith Vieira left the hosting gig in May after overseeing some 2,000 episodes.
Those interested in auditioning should check the “Millionaire” website (http://www.millionairetv.com) for official rules (eg. you must be at least 18). And you can’t be running for political office.
