Townsquare Media Country “New Country 99.1” KUAD Fort Collins CO is making a change in mornings.
Michael Mason and Jordan Soto have departed after a year and a half at the station. The pair took over mornings at KUAD in March 2019, a month after the station relaunched from its previous “K99” identity. Soto had joined the station in late 2018 from “Cat Country 98.7” WYCT Pensacola where she hosted middays as ‘Jenna Scott’. Mason previously hosted nights at “98.9 The Bull” KNUC Seattle and has also worked in Portland and Richmond VA as well as a producer for Delilah.
Assistant Brand Manager/afternoon host Matt Sparx is currently filling-in on mornings while the station begins its search for a new morning show. Director of Content Brad Hansen states that they are “accepting applications from solo/team shows, at least 3 years experience and successful track record in mornings with ninja social media/digital skills and the ability to make a positive, lasting impact on the local community. Must be passionate about country music and live the lifestyle.” Interested applicants can apply at this link.
