IHEARTMEDIA Hot AC WVUU (MY 99.9) and Top 40 Rhythmic KIBT (96.1 THE BEAT)/COLORADO SPRINGS, CO., recently announced their third annual $10 PROM DRESS SALE, a community event that enables area high school seniors to buy affordable dresses for their prom. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the EMPTY STOCKING FUND, an organization that provides resources for local health and human service agencies in the PIKES PEAK region.
The event takes place SUNDAY, MARCH 22nd from 12p-3p (MT) at the CHAPEL HILLS MALL.
iHEARTMEDIA COLORADO SPRINGS on-air personalities will encourage listeners to donate gently used formal wear that can be used for prom.
For the past two years, the fund-raiser has helped over 1,000 young women in the community get affordable prom dresses and has generated over $500 to benefit the EMPTY STOCKING FUND. For additional information regarding the event, visit beatcolorado.com and my999radio.com.
