Denver’s Fox31 and Channel 2 are for sale along with the Local LLC station group (http://www.localtvllc.com/) nationally, being sold by parent Oak Hill Capital Partners. Station staffers were told Thursday it’s business as usual during the sale. Local TV owns or operates 21 stations, including KDVR-KWGN Denver.
Peter Malone, reached in New York, said he is fully expecting “to continue to progress intact” during the sale. This is the third sale he’s been through and typically they’ve taken seven months to a year to clear regulatory hurdles.

Correct me if I am wrong? But KWGN is not owned by Local LLC, it is owned by Tribune. SO how can Local LLC sell a station that they don't own?
Last I remember reading Tribune didn't sell KWGN at all to anyone!

You are correct. The person who wrote that story is not.

Local TV LLC is only operating KWGN, but Tribune still owns it. So this would only affect KDVR as far as who would own it.
But would the new owner be willing to still operate KWGN and KPLR St. Louis, the 2 Tribune stations that Local TV LLC currently operates?

Good question, I would believe it would be in the contract some where. The new owners would have to keep operating KWGN. Or it would be very confusing and puzzling for everyone over there.
I am sure the same crew well still be there. I wonder why they want to sell KDVR for? I thought they were doing great so far?

KWGN's old building remains vacant in the tech center. suppose the new owners of KDVR don't care to operate KWGN, might they move back to their old run down, ghetto, building?

Not a chance in Heck! I would imagine that it is an all in one deal! By KDVR and keep KWGN in the same building with the same employees!
