COLORADO COLLEGE noncommercial Variety KRCC/COLORADO SPRINGS has named WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY News-Talk KMUW/WICHITA reporter ABIGAIL BECKMAN as its new local host for NPR's "MORNING EDITION."
BECKMAN, who produced KMUW's GRACIE Award and Regional MURROW Award-winning documentary "The Pieces that Remain: Remembering the WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY Plane Crash," replaces ANDREA CHALFIN, who is stepping away from her hosting duties to concentrate on her position as Managing Editor.
