NBC announced that veteran newsman Tom Brokaw was rushed to a local hospital this morning from the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte right after taping an interview for the radio show Morning Joe. Brokaw, now 72, reportedly complained of lightheadedness. He's maintained a rigourous schedule at the DNC this week and has been "seemingly everywhere."
While there's been no word on Brokaw's condition since he was hospitalized, the hope is this nothing more than a case of exhaustion and nothing more serious.
