Mike Landess. KMGH

KMGH’s Mike Landess was named best anchor, KMGH’s Matt Makens nabbed best weathercaster and KUSA’s Drew Soicher was named best sportscaster in the Colorado Broadcasters Association 2012 awards.
KUSA won station of the year, longtime voice of KEZW, Rick Crandall, won the Rex Howell Broadcaster of the Year Award from the CBA (http://www.coloradobroadcasters.org/) in a ceremony Saturday night in Denver. Craig Eliot of KOAA-TV won the annual Harry W. Hoth public service award, Mark Crowley of KNUS-AM won the Broadcast Citizen Award.

“Mike Nelson’s Colorado-After the Fires” won best public affairs program. KUSA’s “Eight Square Miles” by Chris Vanderveen, Dave Delozier, John Kuhrt won best documentary.
