From All Access:

ALL ACCESS sends condolences to the family and friends of longtime radio veteran KERRY GRAY, who lost his year-long brain cancer battle (NET NEWS, 3/11/16). KERRY passed away this morning in MINNESOTA. He was just 50 years old.

KERRY began his radio career at 15 and spent 30+ years in radio, which included WEQX/MANCHESTER, VT-ALBANY, NY, KBCO/DENVER, WEDG (103.3 THE EDGE)/BUFFALO, and CJXY (Y108)/HAMILTON, ON.

Current WEDG PD JAMES KURDZIEL, who previously worked as MD when KERRY was PD at the station, told ALL ACCESS, “KERRY had a larger-than-life personality and a really great heart. His presence made people around him want to be better. He was one of the sweetest and weirdest guys I ever knew.”

Y108 morning show host BEN MCVIE, who co-hosted mornings with KERRY from 2008-2013, told THE HAMILTON SPECTATOR that he visited his former morning partner about a month ago, "I went down to see him and, unfortunately, the day I got there he took a turn for the worse."

KERRY is survived by his son DECLAN and girlfriend ANGELL.
