Hello,
I'm Rob Hatch. I'm the creator of that "other" radio site. After hearing from a few people that nothing really had been updated with that other site, new people couldn't post and the "owners" were m.i.a., I decided after over 10 years off that I would do this again.

I've worked in radio on and off for almost 30 years. I now run an online station that gets over 15,000 listeners a day.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for ColoradoMedia.net. I want to make it "your" site!

Nice to meet you Rob. Also I want to say you did an excellent job in the years you were running the "other' radio site and you're doing an excellent job with this new site and I'm happy to call this site my new home for radio & TV:) Also, if you decide you need more Moderators in the future let me know and I'll be glad to give you and RadioDude an extra hand around here.

After reading that "other site", I'm very pleased here. Already have more info this month than a few years on the other. Thank you for this.

You are very welcome. I was sad to see how limited the old site had become. I spent at least 6 hours a day for many years back when I ran it to gather news, make station contacts, etc. I didn't keep any of the old info as I turned it all over to them at the time I sold it - like station call and logo histories, all of the archived news, and such.

So this "new site" is a work from the ground up. This site is very different as TV and other media will be included, and very much a chat forum which the old site wasn't at all when I had it. When I run the other site, I manually posted stuff submitted for the comments & rumors and news.

This new site will hopefully be a great new beginning where all input is listened to and appreciated. I've worked in corporate radio. I still know others that do. I respect anyone working in that business because now more than ever it has less of a reward than most jobs - especially financially.

When I created the other site, most stations where live, with full staffs. Now most stations are voicetracked and very little is live programming. And they run a bare-bones staff to keep costs down.

Anyway, I'm babbling so I'll end this post. I just want this site just not to be mine, but yours as well. ;)
